The weather in Taiwan is just nice. It is windy and a little bit of chilling during my visit on September. To folk from a tropical climate country like Malaysia; it is one totally different experience. The first visit was to 十分 which is approximate 45 min by train from the heart of Taipei City. The long travelling time is mainly caused by the the frequent stops that the train made. Plus, each of the stops is like 5 – 10 minutes. I just hope that the train can move faster and reach the destination faster.
十分 is a touristy destination as most of the part of Taiwan. It is reachable by train which stopped exactly at the door step of the train terminal. Beside that, this place can be reach by land transportation such as taxi or conventional bus service. Decorative figures and handicraft items can be found everywhere.
One of the most interesting event is flying lantern. First, write all your dream and wishes. Then, lantern will be released and fly to sky in order to make your dream come true. “All Dream come true IZ always Love me more”… Hope your dreams will come true.
It is such a view to watch one-by-one of the lantern fly filling the clear blue sky with tiny bit of red coloured lantern. Panning up, lanterns look like bright stars at night that bring people’s dream to a place where it can be fulfil.
Happy couple is releasing the lantern witnessed by their friend. Gosh. He got huge camera.
Another couple wish-writing .
Taipei 101 is a must visit place in Taipei. I just roamed around the shopping mall but didn’t go up the observatory. The sky was dark so decided to skip the trip.
My favourite food: 四神汤 + Dumpling + Glutinous rice
Taichung was my next trip. The view above is the park in Taichung.
Boat rowing in a calm man-make lake with family is a common past time for the local.
Spotted Shiba Inu in Taichung .
Crossing the road while checking on facebook status? Or message on Line. That is pretty common.
Standard view at night market. Shop after shop selling fried chicken. Selling milk tea. And more food. That is all the iconic stalls in Taiwan. Personally, think all foods are unique yet, it is almost the same around whole Taiwan.
Drink seller in night market.
Rib eye ….. Wow ..
This is very interesting but seem not as suitable for kids.
Entrance of the night market is usually so crowded with both locals and tourists.
Continue the journey to QingJing. QingJing is a natural and cold place with clear sky at night.
Sheep marched in to entertain the tourist.
Demonstration of shedding sheep wool.
Swiss garden at night.
Beautiful flowers in swiss garden.
九分 my last trip in the evening. First stop for food; glass noodle with pork.
Smiling food seller might get more customers to buy from her. Most of the shop owner is quite Japanese fluent here which is one of the important skill to communicate with Japanese tourist.
Restaurant by the mountain looking at the beautiful mountain and sea.
This is the view that you will get sitting at the restaurant.
Up hill walking to visit all stores.
Xi Men Ding night market. Really a lot of people.
Ah Chung flour-rice is one of best food in Xi Men Ding.
